My focus in this series of shots was the storm blowing across the state of New Mexico, what I had intended to capture overhead ended up too washed out, instead the highlights in the grass became the clincher for me.

The powerful sense of desolation makes this shot for me. A less rusty barrel would not have worked. Excellent shot, even it it wasn't what you originally intended.
