Whilst in Singapore on my last trip, I was given the advice to go check out a second hand market near Little India for cheap old cameras. I found there a 1960’s era Canon Canonet QL in good condition, a bargain at $20 (sg). Loaded with Ilford HP5 400 it came to Australia with me. Not the lightest little camera in the world but it has that retro quality I really love.

Ah, what a wonderful image! I don't know why, but that straw hat makes the whole composition go from very good to great. Such a peaceful image.
