Top floor of Silo 2’s Maintenance Terminal. The large hole in the floor is for the equipment elevator that runs through the 4 floors and the hole in the ceiling is the cover used to bring in the facilities equipment. Once the complex was complete, the 6ft thick, concrete steel reinforced slab was placed, like a tombstone, sealing in the Maintenance Terminal and making it blast resistant from a nuclear strike only a few thousand feet away.
