Walking through this school house, I not only had to look down at where I was walking but up as well. The crumbling plaster is falling in heavy chunks, a piece of that detritus landing on my head would make for a bad day. I loath seeing such a beautiful, well crafted building suffering entropy of the elements.

Really nice composition, nice work, a shame these old places are rotting but capturing them is so rewarding
Thanks Michael,
I agree, it’s almost like validating their existence.
superbe ambiance
Thanks Rem!
“As in hraven above, so on earth below.” That’s something astrologers often say, which came to mind, Will. Detritus is a good word for this. (sigh)
Very beautiful words Ginnie and so very fitting. Thank you!
beautiful compositione!:)
Thank you Geanina!
Looking towards the ceiling this place looks a bit dangerous. Photographing those places convey them into eternity.
Thanks Tom!
I think Ginnie found the right word. There is beauty in that ‘ detritus’
I agree, a bit of well worded poetry helps the narrative a lot. 🙂
«… detritus landing on my head would make for a bad day.»
But in other hand, perhaps, you would have a spike of visitors, just to see that.
😛
As always, you did a great work.
Possibly a spike in visitors seeing me at the hospital, LOL.
Very melancholic
Thanks Shooter!
