Was it the owners last night in the house? Was the bottle left there on the way out the door? Rats now call this mountain cabin home.
I typically shoot all my photos as sets of 3 bracketed images and merge them into one single HDR image in post production. This time I’m trying something a little different by using luminosity masks to balance out the final product.

So, all photos i have seen here are HDR photos?
This “new method” also worked very well.
Who wants to sit there. I prefer HDR photos when it is not obvious that they are HDR. Well done.

This seems like a very sad photo. But very movie-still like feel to it, as well.

Awesome, as usual 🙂 That whole ‘last moment that….’ feeling is what grabs in in these images. What was the person doing, thinking, feeling, when he/she got up from that couch for the last time. Facinating 🙂
