Another photo from our recent California trip. I remember when I was kid growing up in Australia, the gulls at the beach were a menace, you’d be eating your fries with one hand while fending off the attacks by the hungry gulls with the other, maybe my memory is distorted but it left me with a negative impression of these birds that has lasted a long time. I have a different appreciation for these surf dwellers now, in fact they’re quite relaxing to watch over a sunset beach.

Beautiful image very well executed
Oh, to be at the beach. Maybe next year. I love seagulls and the sound of them calling to one another. If I close my eyes I can almost hear the waves and smell the sea. Exceptional image.
